English Abstract:
【Abstract】 Objectives: To clarify the differences of cognitive consistency between adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS) patients and their families on the dimensions of Scoliosis Research Society-22(SRS-22) questionnaire before treatment, and to investigate the influence factors of clinical and imaging parameters on SRS-22 scores in AIS patients and their family members. Methods: The AIS patients and their families in our hospital filled out SRS-22 questionnaire respectively from January, 2019 to January, 2020. There were 46 AIS patients with an average age of 13.6±1.8 years, including 37 females and 9 males. The consistency between the AIS patients and their family members regarding SRS-22 questionnaire scores was analyzed. The correlation between gender, age, body mass index(BMI), course of disease, main curve of scoliosis, Cobb angle of main curve, and angle of axial trunk rotation(ATR) and SRS-22 questionnaire scores was analyzed. Results: The results of consistency between the AIS patients and their family members showed that the function, the self-image, and the total score of SRS-22 questionnaire in AIS patients was higher than that in their family members(P=0.048, <0.001, and 0.038, respectively), and no significant difference was found in pain and mental health between AIS patients and their family members. In the results of the SRS-22 questionnaire scores evaluated by the AIS patients, the age was negatively correlated with the mental health (r=-0.343, P=0.020), and the Cobb angle of main curve was negatively correlated with the function(r=-0.366, P=0.012). The course of disease, BMI and ATR angle were not correlated with SRS-22 questionnaire scores. In the results of the SRS-22 questionnaire evaluated by the family members of patients with AIS, the female was associated with the lower pain scores than males(4.5±0.6 vs 5.0±0.1, P=0.017). There was no significant difference in other sub-dimensional evaluation. Conclusions: The family members were less satisfied with the function and the self-image than the AIS patients, while they have good cognitive consistency in the pain and the mental health. The age and Cobb angle of main curve were the influencing factors of the pain and function scores of SRS-22 questionnaire in the AIS patients respectively.
