对以往诊断为运动神经元疾病的２４例患者做了重新检查。否定原诊断，确诊为脊髓型颈椎病１１例（４５．８％），９例诊断为ＣＭ与ＭＮＤ共存，４例维持原诊断。作者认为ＣＭ易误诊为ＭＮＤ，并分析了误诊原因，提出新的诊断条件，以避免ＭＮＤ诊断的泛化。
