２０年来我们收治了３１４例颈椎损伤患者，资料表明：严重病例发生率呈增长趋势，死亡率及合并神经伤的发生率仍较高，预后则取决于原发颈髓伤的程度与伤后现场现代急救措施及早期处理的水平。作者讨论了伸直型损伤及临床治疗情况，介绍了“无神经损伤的外伤性迟发性严重颈椎脱位”中不多见的特殊类型。提出了严重颈椎损伤的治疗要点。
